هدف البحث إلى التعرف على مستوى الدافعية نحو تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية بدولة الكويت وعلاقتها بأساليب التعلم لديهم، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث قامت الباحثة بإعداد مقياس الدافعية نحو تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية ومقياس لأساليب التعلم، وتم تطبيق أداتي البحث على عينة قوامها (162) تلميذة بالصفين الرابع والخامس بالمرحلة الابتدائية. توصل البحث إلى: وجود مستوى أقل من المتوسط من الدافعية نحو تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية عينة البحث حيث بلغت قيمة "ت" (-4.95) وهي قيمة دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى (0.01)، وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى دلالة (0.01) بين درجات التلاميذ عينة البحث على مقياس الدافعية نحو تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية وبين درجاتهم على مقياس أساليب التعلم حيث بلغت قيمة معامل الارتباط (0.362). The aim of the current research is to identify the level of motivation towards learning English among primary school students in the State of Kuwait and its relationship to their learning methods, and to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher prepared a measure of motivation towards learning English and a measure of learning methods, and the two research tools were applied to a sample of (162) pupils in the fourth and fifth grades in the primary stage and the research concluded: The presence of a lower than average level of motivation towards learning English in primary school pupils the research sample where the value of "T" (-4.95) which is the value of a function statistically at the level of (0.01), the existence of a positive correlation statistically significant at the level of significance (0.01) between the scores of the pupils of the research sample on the scale of motivation towards learning English and their scores on the scale of learning methods where the value of the correlation coefficient (0.362).
