هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع التعليم الريادي وتكنولوجيا المستقبل في التعليم المدرسي بسلطنة عمان، تكوٌن مجتمع الدراسة من جميع مدارس السلطنة البالغ عددها (1166) مدرسة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من سبع مدارس من ثلاث محافظات تعليمية، حيث شملت مديري المدارس، ومعلمي تقنية المعلومات، وأخصائي التوجيه المهني، وأخصائي الأنشطة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم إعداد قائمة مكونة من (25) فقرة حول تكنولوجيا المستقبل التي يمكن تدريسها في المدارس والتي لها علاقة مباشرة مع التعليم الريادي، وعلى إثرها تم إجراء مقابلات (مجموعات تركيز) مع أفراد عينة الدراسة للتعرف على واقع تواجد تكنولوجيا المستقبل في المدارس بالإضافة إلى تعبئة القائمة وفق واقع تكنولوجيا المستقبل لكل مدرسة. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن (28%) جاءت بدرجة قليلة من تكنولوجيا المستقبل يتم تناولها ضمن منهج تقنية المعلومات بالصفوف من الخامس إلى الحادي عشر ما بين دروس نظرية وتطبيقية. كما أظهرت النتائج أن مديري المدارس وأخصائي التوجيه المهني وأخصائي الأنشطة ليس لديهم خطط أو إجراءات للتعليم الريادي في مجال تكنولوجيا المستقبل. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة تبني وزارة التربية والتعليم بالسلطنة استراتيجية ورؤية واضحة لإدراج التعليم الريادي في مجال تكنولوجيا المستقبل في التعليم المدرسي، وتطوير المناهج والأنشطة التربوية بما يتوافق مع التوجه العالمي نحو تكنولوجيا المستقبل. The purpose of this study is to explore the situation of entrepreneurship education and future technology in school education in Oman. The population of the study is all 1166 Omani schools. The study was carried out on a sample of 7 schools from 3 governorates which covers school principals, information technology teachers, vocational guidance specialists and activities’ officers. To achieve the purposes of this study, a list of 25 texts on technologies of the future which can be used in teaching and are directly related to entrepreneurship education was compiled. Based on the list, interviews were conducted on focus groups of the study sample to explore the situation of entrepreneurship education and future technology on the schools. Additionally, the respondents of each school were asked to fill in a questionnaire based on the existing future technology for each school. Results indicate that only 28% of target future technologies are evident in the curriculum of information technology for grade 5-11 both in theory and practice. Additionally, school principals, vocational guidance specialists and activities’ officers lack any plans or methods in future technology. It is recommended that the ministry of education in Oman establish a clear vision to include entrepreneurship education into the curriculum of information technology in schools and elevate the curriculum and school activities to the global trend of future technology.
