هدفت الدراسة إلى التحقق من فاعلية أثر استراتيجية (PQ4R) في تنمية مهارات الفهم القرائي (المباشر، والاستنتاجي، والناقد) لدى تلميذات الصف السادس الابتدائي، ولتحقيق ذلك؛ اتبعت الباحثة المنهج شبه التجريبي المعتمد على تصميم المجموعتين: التجريبية والضابطة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (36) تلميذة من تلميذات الصف السادس يدرسن في إحدى المدارس الابتدائية بمحافظة القنفذة، ثم قامت باختيار مجموعتي الدراسة: المجموعة الضابطة وعددهن (18) تلميذة، والتجريبية وعددهن (18) تلميذة عشوائيا بنظام القرعة، وتم بناء أدوات الدراسة وموادها، والمتمثلة في قائمة مهارات الفهم القرائي، ودليل المعلمة، وكتيب أنشطة التلميذة، واختبار مهارات الفهم القرائي، وباستخدام الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة تم التوصل إلى أن استراتيجية (PQ4R) لها تأثير إيجابي على تنمية مهارات الفهم القرائي (المباشر، والاستنتاجي، والناقد) كل على حده، وأيضا لها تأثير إيجابي على تنمية مهارات الفهم القرائي (المباشر، والاستنتاجي، والناقد) ككل لدى التلميذات، وفي ضوء هذه النتائج قدمت مجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات. The study aimed to identify the impact of a knowledge-based strategy (PQ4R) in the development of some reading comprehension skills (direct, deductive and critical) among sixth grade students in the girl section, as to fulfill this, the researcher adopted the semiexperimental approach that relies on the two groups design: the experimental and the control, study sample comprised of (36) students from the sixth grade in girls section, whom they are studying in one of Al-Qunfudha governorate elementary schools, the two study groups were examined: the control group of (18) student, and the experimental contained (18) students were randomly selected following the lottery approach, study tools and its materials were constructed, it was represented in a list of comprehension skills, teacher guide, student’s activity manual and reading comprehension skills. In using the suitable statistical methods, the strategy of (PQ4R) were decided to use due to its positive impact on developing the reading comprehension skill (direct, deductive and critical) respectively, it also has a positive impact on the development of reading comprehension over all students (direct, deductive and critical). In light of the study results some of recommendations and suggestions were offered. (Published abstract)
