هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن القيم الحياتية وعلاقتها بتحمل المسؤولية لدى طالبات كلية التربية دراسة مقارنة بين المتأخرات دراسيا والمتفوقات في جامعة مؤتة. فقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من 300 طالبة من كلية العلوم التربوية، وطبق مقياس القيم الحياتية ومقياس تحمل المسؤولية اللذان تمّ تطويرهما والتأكد من خصائصهما السيكومترية. وأظهرت النتائج أن قياس معنى الحياة الكلي جاء متوسطا، فقد جاءت القيم الخبراتية والقبم الموقفية بمتوسط حسابي مرتفع. في حين جاءت القيم الابداعية متوسطة، وجاءت درجة تحمل المسؤولية بمتوسط حسابي مرتفع بجميع أبعاده (الوطنية والاجتماعية)، عدا المسؤولية الشخصية فقد جاءت متوسطة، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في متوسطات القيم الحياتية والمعدل التراكمي ولصالح المستوى معدل تراكمي "ممتاز". This study aimed at detecting the life values and their relationship to bearing responsibility among the female students in the Faculty of Education in the form of a comparative study between the academically delayed and excellent female students at Mu'tah university. The study sample consisted of (300) female students in the Faculty of Education. The researcher administered the scale of life values as well as the scale of bearing responsibility that were developed and their psychometric characteristics were verified. The results showed that the values of life meaning were of a medium degree; the experiential values as well as the situational values were of a high degree, while the innovative values were of a medium degree. The mean of bearing responsibility was high with all its dimensions (the national and social) except for the personal responsibility which was medium. The results showed that there are statistically significant differences regarding the means of life values as well as the accumulative average in favor of the accumulative average of excellent.
