هدفت الدراسة إلى استقصاء مفاهيم الصحة الأسرية في كتب اللغة العربية لمرحلة التعليم الأساسي العليا في الأردن، والبالغ عددها (14) كتاباً للفصلين الدراسيين الأول والثاني. حيث تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي القائم على تحليل المحتوى. حيث قام الباحثان بإعداد قائمة لمفاهيم الصحة الأسرية الواجب تضمينها في كتب العينة، واعتمدت كأداة لتحليل كتب العينة. وقد تضمنت الأداة (37) مفهوما فرعيا توزعت على سبعة مجالات رئيسة. وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن مجموع التكرارات الكلي لمفاهيم الصحة الأسرية في كتب العينة (3295) تكرارا، كان أكثرها تكراراً في كتب اللغة العربية للصف التاسع الأساسي حيث بلغت التكرارات (1201) تكرارا وبنسبة مئوية بلغت (36%)، يليه كتب الصف العاشر الأساسي حيث بلغت (998) تكراراً وبنسبة (30%)، ثم كتب الصف الثامن الأساسي حيث بلغت (614) تكراراً وبنسبة (19%)، بينما كان أقلها تكراراً في كتاب الصف السابع الأساسي حيث بلغت (482) تكراراً وبنسبة (15%). وأوصت الدراسة على: التركيز على مفاهيم الصحة الأسرية التي لم تحظ بالتكرارات الكافية في كتب اللغة العربية في الصفوف المختلفة، مثل: الصحة الإنجابية، والنظافة الشخصية، والصحة الجنسية. This study aimed at investigating the family health concepts in Arabic language textbooks for the upper basic stage of education in Jordan. The total number of textbooks are 14. The study used the descriptive approach employing content analysis. To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher collected a list of family health concepts available in the sample textbooks. The list was used as a tool to analyze the textbooks. To achieve the validity of the tool, it was reviewed by a number of specialists. The reliability was (99%). He instrument included 37 sub concept distributed on seven main domains. The study concluded with a number of results: the overall frequencies of the family health concepts in the sample text book were (3295), of which (1201) frequencies were noticed in the ninth grade Arabic language textbook with a percentage of (36%). In the tenth grade Arabic language textbook, the frequencies were (998) with (30%), followed by the eighth grade textbook (614) with (19%). The seventh grade textbook bottomed the list with (482) frequencies and (15%). The study offered a number of recommendations: one of these is the importance of the balance of presenting these concepts in the textbooks and having a list of the family health concepts according to the stage of education and class level, which can be presented within the textbooks.
