This study aimed to identify the problems facing teachers during the year of probation in government primary schools in the city of Arar, and to identify the reality of school principals dealing with the problems facing the teacher during the year of probation in government primary schools in the city of Arar, and the researcher used the descriptive survey method, and a questionnaire was the study tool, which was applied to a sample consisting of (140) primary school teachers, and the data were analyzed using (SPSS), where the results of the study showed the following: The overall tool obtained a total average (3.42 of 5) and a verbal grading (large), While the aspect of the problems have an average of (3.56) with a verbal grading (large), and the dimensions of the aspect. The dimensions of the problems related to students and parents got the highest average (3.82), followed by the dimension of the problems related to the teaching work with an average of (3.53), and both of them evaluated (large), and finally the problems of school principal with an average (3.34) and evaluation (medium), and the aspect: The reality of school principal dealing with problems got a total average (3.28 out of 5), with an evaluation of (average), and at the dimension level -within the aspect -the dimension of dealing with students and parents’ problems happened at the highest average (3.36), followed by the dimension of dealing with problems related to the school principal with an average of (3.27), and finally teaching problems with an average (3.20), all with a verbal grading (average). Based on the results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions, including: Providing teachers in the year of probation in government primary schools in the city of Arar, with the regulations, instructions and systems they need, and providing the educational means that teachers need in the year of probation in government primary schools in Arar.
