هدف البحث الحالي إلى معرفة واقع الدور الذي تقوم به وزارة التربية والتعليم بالجمهورية اليمنية في إدارة الأزمات التربوية، والاطلاع على التجارب العربية والعالمية في إدارة الأزمات من خلال الاستفادة منها في بناء تصور مقترح لإنشاء وحدة لإدارة الأزمات بالوزارة. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي وأعد استبانة وزعها على (268) من قيادات وموظفي وزارة التربية والتعليم ومكاتبها بالمحافظات. وتوصل البحث إلى أن واقع الدور الذي تقوم به الوزارة في إدارة الأزمات التربوية لم يكن عند المستوى المطلوب، وأنه لا يوجد بديوان عام الوزارة ولا مكاتبها وحدة لإدارة الأزمات تتكفل بمهمة التخطيط والإعداد والمتابعة والتنسيق. وما هو موجود ليس سوى لجنة تم تشكيلها من قبل الوزارة لإدارة الأزمات، ولذا فقد خرج البحث - مستفيدا من التجارب العالمية والعربية - بتصور مقترح لإنشاء وحدة لإدارة الأزمات التربوية بوزارة التربية والتعليم تتضمن تلك الوحدة: الرؤية والرسالة والأهداف والمهام والهيكل التنظيمي. وكذا مهام كل إدارة داخل الهيكل. The purpose of the research is to find out the reality of the role played by the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Yemen in the management of educational crises and to identify the Arab and international experiences in crisis management, by using them in building a proposed scenario for establishing a crisis management unit in the Ministry. The researcher used the descriptive method and distributed a questionnaire on (268) of the leaders and employees of the Ministry of Education and its offices in the governorates. The research found that the reality of the role played by the ministry in the management of educational crises was not at the required level. The research, drawing on Arab and international experiences, came up with a proposal to establish an educational crisis management unit in the Ministry of Education to planning, following-up, and coordinating. What exists is only a committee formed by the ministry to manage crises. This unit includes: Vision, mission, goals, tasks and organizational structure; as well as the tasks of each administration within the structure. (Published abstract)
