The study aims to reveal the reality of the transition to knowledge society in educational process from the point of view of English language teachers across educational institutions in the city of Sakakah. In particular, this study focuses on identifying the characteristics of English language teachers in terms of knowledge society. It also aims to recognize the appropriateness of teachers’ use of teaching methods as well as the appropriateness of learning environment for the knowledge society. The study adopts a descriptive research method. Mostly all English language teachers of the three-educational stages in Sakakah were included in this study. Yet, the sample for this study included 65 English language teachers. This study employs questionnaire-survey approach for data collection. It comprises of three parts: 1) characteristics of English language teachers. 2) Teaching methods used by English language teachers. 3) Schools learning environment in knowledge society. The study found the following results: 1) the characteristics of English language teachers in the society knowledge scores high degree at the mean (3.96) from the point of view of English language teachers in Skakah. 2) The teaching methods used by English language teachers in the society knowledge scores high degree at the mean (4.05) from the point of view of English language teachers in Skakah. 3) Schools learning environment in knowledge society in the society knowledge scores high degree at the mean (3.61) from the point of view of English language teachers in Skakah. 4) The results of the study with regard to the fourth question, there were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the English language teachers of the transition to the knowledge society in the educational process due to the study variables.
