هدفت الدراسة إلى التوصل لإجراءات مقترحة لتفعيل العمل الإشرافي المشترك بين المشرف التربوي والإدارة المدرسية، وذلك من خلال الكشف عن درجة المشاركة في ممارسات العمل الإشرافي بين المشرفين التربويين ومديري المدارس ومساعديهم بسلطنة عمان، وتحديد الفروق بين استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة حول هذه الممارسات تعزى لمتغيرات المسمى الوظيفي، والتدريب. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم إعداد استبانة، وتم تطبيقها على عينة مكونة من (166) مشرفًا تربويا، (100) مدير مدرسة ومساعديهم في خمس محافظات تعليمية: مسقط، جنوب الباطنة، الداخلية، البريمي، شمال الشرقية، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى ما يلي: 1) جاءت درجة المشاركة في تطبيق ممارسات العمل الإشرافي المشترك بين المشرف التربوي والإدارة المدرسة بدرجة متوسطة. 2) وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة حول درجة المشاركة في تطبيق ممارسات العمل الإشرافي المشترك تعزى لمتغير المسمى الوظيفي في جميع المحاور عدا محور تقييم أداء المعلمين لصالح مدير المدرسة/المدير المساعد، بينما لم تظهر أية فروق دالة في استجاباتهم تعزى لمتغير التدريب في الأداة ككل وفي جميع المحاور. 3) توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من الإجراءات المقترحة التي تسهم في تفعيل العمل الإشرافي المشترك في سلطنة عمان. This study aims to give some suggested actions to activate the practices of shared supervision between educational supervisors and school administration in Oman through identifying the degree of participation in shared supervision practices between educational supervisors and school principals and co-principals, and identifying the significant differences in respondents' perceptions of the shared practices attributed to position and training. To achieve this aim, a questionnaire was applied for a random sample consisted of (166) supervisors and (100) school principals in five governorates (Muscat, south Batinah, Dakhilya, Buraimi, and north Sharqiya). Findings of the study revealed: 1) Respondents of the study rated all practices as meduim in the degree of shared practices between supervisors and school principals. 2) There was significant differences in respondents' perceptions of the degree of shared practices attributed to position in favor of school principals. 3) There was no significant differences in respondents' perceptions of the degree of shared practices attributed to training. Based on findings, the study suggested to a set of actions from the literature and respondents' perceptions which are anticipated to activate the practices of shared supervision between educational supervisors and school principals.
