This study aims at investigating the degree of Arabic language teachers' mastery of critical thinking skills and practising them in Higher Basic Stage in Bani Kenanah Directorate of Education from their point of view according to the variables of sex, scientific qualification, and teaching experience . The study intended to answer the following questions. What is the degree of Arabic language teachers' mastery of critical thinking skills in Higher Basic Stage in Bani Kenanah Directorate of Education from their point of view? What is the degree of Arabic language teachers' practising of critical thinking skills in Higher Basic Stage in Bani Kenanah Directorate of Education from their point of view? Does the degree of mastery differ according to sex, scientific qualification, and teaching experience variables? Does the degree of Practice differ according to sex, scientific qualification, and teaching experience variables? Is there a correlational relationship between the degree of mastery and practice of the critical thinking skills? The study sample consists of (100) male and female teachers. The study instrument consists of (46) items which were divided into (5) fields. The validity and reliability have been tested. Statistical program for social sciences (SPSS) was used in data analysis. The study ends up with the following results. 1) Teachers master and practice critical thinking skills with high degree. 2) the domain of inference took the first rank , the domain of evaluation took the last rank , the domain of explanation came second in both , and the domain of analysis came third in the field of mastery and fourth in practice , the domain of induction came fourth in mastery and third in practice. 3) There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05 ) in teachers’ mastery degree and practice of critical thinking due to experience of (10) years and more. Also, there are no statistically significant differences due to the variables of sex and scientific qualification. 4) There is a strong positive correlational relationship between the degree of teachers' mastery of critical thinking skills and the degree of practicing these skills where correlation coefficient bet.
