إستهدفت هذه الدراسة الكشف عن أثر استخدام استراتيجية تدريس قائمة على توظيف المشاريع في تنمية الاتجاهات البيئية لدى طلبة كلية العلوم التربوية والآداب وتأثرها بكل من متغيري الجنس والمعدل التراكمي للطالب. وقد تكون أفراد الدراسة من جميع الطلبة الذين درسوا مساق الثقافة البيئية في كلية العلوم التربوية خلال الفصل الدراسي الثاني من العام الجامعي 2013-2014م، والبالغ عددهم (134) طالباً وطالبة موزعين في (3) شعب دراسية. أما عينة الدراسة فقد تم اختيارها عشوائياً لتتكون من شعبتين: هما الشعبة (أ) وعدد الطلبة فيها (56) طالباً وطالبة، والشعبة (ج) وعدد الطلبة فيها (48) طالباً وطالبة، ثم تم استخدام التعيين العشوائي لتوزيع الشعبتين في المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة. وقد تم استخدام مقياس للاتجاهات البيئية مكون من (25) فقرة بعد التحقق من صدق محتواه بالتحكيم، ومن ثباته باستخدام معادلة كرونباخ ألفا، وقد اتبع التصميم شبه التجريبي في تنفيذ الدراسة، وتم تحليل البيانات بالأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة. كشفت نتائج الدراسة من خلال مقارنة أداء طلبة مجموعتي الدراسة على مقياس الاتجاهات البيئية في الإجراء البعدي، أن هنالك فروقاً ذات دلالة احصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05(α= لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، مما يشير إلى فاعلية استراتيجية التدريس القائم على توظيف المشاريع في تنمية الاتجاهات البيئية، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود تفاعل بين استراتيجية التدريس القائمة على توظيف المشاريع وكلاً من متغيري الجنس والمعدل التراكمي، مما يشير إلى فاعلية الاستراتيجية في تنمية الاتجاهات البيئية لكلا الجنسين ولجميع المستويات. وفي ضوء النتائج، أوصت الباحثة بتوظيف استراتيجية التدريس القائمة على توظيف المشاريع في التعليم الجامعي، كما أوصت الباحثين بإجراء مزيد من الدراسات للبحث في أثر هذه الاستراتيجية في تدريس مساقات أخرى، واختبار أثرها في متغيرات أخرى. This study aimed at investigating the effect of a project-based teaching strategy on enhancing environmental attitudes among students of the Faculty of Educational Science and Art and how it is affected by students’ gender and GPA. The members of the study were (134) students enrolled in (3) sections (A, B & C) of the Environmental Education course in the second semester of the academic year 2013-2014. Section A with 56 students and section C with 48 students were randomly selected as the study sample, the two sections were randomly distributed to experimental and control groups. An environmental attitudes scale with (25) items was used in this study. The validity of the scale was verified by a panel of jury, while the reliability of the scale was calculated using Cronabach alpha for internal consistency that was equal to (0.922). The study results showed the following: 1) There is a statistically significant difference (α=0.05) on enhancing environmental attitudes among the Faculty of Educational Science and Art students in favor of the experimental group due to the project-based teaching strategy. 2) There is no effect of the interaction of a project-based teaching strategy and student's gender on enhancing the environmental attitudes among the students of the Faculty of Educational Science and Art. 3) There is no effect of the interaction of a project-based teaching strategy and student's G.P.A on enhancing the environmental attitudes among the students of the Faculty of Educational Science and Art. In light of these results, the researcher recommends using the project based teaching strategy in higher education. The study also recommends conducting more research on using the project based-teaching strategy in other courses and variables. (Published Abstract)
