استهدفت الدراسة تعرف دور الحوار التربوي في تنمية قيم المواطنة لدى طلبة التعليم العالي بمملكة البحرين من وجهة نظرهم؛ ولتحقيق ذلك استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي، والاستبانة أداة للدراسة الميدانية تم تطبيقها على عينة من طلبة ثلاث جامعات خاصة قوامها 314 طالب وطالبة، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى موافقة الطلبة على الآليات المقترحة لتفعيل دور الحوار التربوي في تنمية قيم المواطنة، حيث جاءت محاور الاستبانة على الترتيب التالي (قيمة واجبات المواطنة وضرورة الالتزام بها، قيمة حقوق المواطنة وضرورة التمسك بها، قيمة التسامح، قيمة التكافل الاجتماعي، قيمة الانتماء والولاء الوطني)، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين استجابات الطلبة تعزى لمتغير النوع والجنسية، والجامعة، ونوع الكلية، وأخيرًا قدمت الدراسة تصورًا مقترحًا لتفعيل دور الحوار التربوي في تنمية قيم المواطنة لدى طلبة التعليم العالي بمملكة البحرين. The study aims to identify the role of the educational dialogue in developing citizenship values among the students of higher education in the Kingdom of Bahrain from their point of view. To achieve this, the researcher used the descriptive method and a questionnaire as a tool applied to a sample of students in three private universities out of 314 male and female students. The study found an approval of the students on the proposed mechanisms for activating the role of the educational dialogue in developing citizenship values where the axes of the questionnaire are used on the following order (value, duties of citizenship and the need to abide by, the value of citizenship rights and the need to stick to it, the value of tolerance, the value of social solidarity, the value of belonging and national loyalty). The study also found out that there are no statistically significant differences between the responses of students due to the variable type, nationality, university and college. Finally, the study submitted a proposal to activate the role of educational dialogue in developing citizenship values among the students of higher education in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
