هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى قياس فاعلية برنامج تدريبي في معالجة التلعثم وأثره في تنمية الثقة في النفس لدى عينة من الأطفال المتلعثمين. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (38) طفلاُ وطفلة من الأطفال المتلعثمين في الفئة العمرية من (7-10) سنوات، تم اختيارهم عشوائيا من المترددين على عيادة النطق / مجمع الدكتور ألخاني في المدينة المنورة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم الباحث مقياس شدة التلعثم ومقياس الثقة بالنفس. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة الآتي: 1) وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α≥0.05)في شدة التلعثم بين أفراد المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة تعزى للبرنامج التدريبي لصالح أفراد المجموعة التجريبية. 2) وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α≥0.05) في مستوى الثقة بالنفس بين أفراد المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة تعزى للبرنامج التدريبي لصالح أفراد المجموعة التجريبية. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج أوصى الباحث باستخدام البرنامج التدريبي في علاج اضطرابات التلعثم وتنمية مستوى الثقة بالنفس لدى الطلبة المتلعثمين، وإجراء دراسات مماثلة على عينات أخرى من الطلبة المتلعثمين. The study aimed at identifying the effect of a training program on treating stuttering and on promoting self-confidence of children with stuttering disorders. The study sample included 38 stuttering boys and girls aged 7-10. They were chosen randomly from those treated at Al-Khani Health Center in Medina. To achieve the goals of the study, a measurement was applied to identify the level of stuttering as well as the level of self-confidence. The results showed the following: 1) There were statistically significant differences at the level (α≥ 0.05) in treating stuttering disorders of the stuttering children ascribed to the training program in favor of the experiment group. 2) There were statistically significant differences at the level of (α≥ 0.05) regarding the level of self-confidence for the stuttering children ascribed to the training program, in favor of the experimental group. In the light of the results, the researcher recommends that training programs should be used for treating stuttering disorders and improving the level of self-confidence of children with stuttering disorders. The researcher also recommends that similar studies on different samples should be carried out. (Published Abstract)
