The school buildings are essential elements of the educational process. In light of this, the researchers found that the school buildings have a direct impact on the educational situation at the level of Iraq in general and the governorate of Karbala in particular, which encouraged them to crystallize the problem of their research under the title "the reality of school buildings and its impact on the educational reality of the holy city of Karbala In accordance with the overall quality standards). The importance of research is in (highlighting the impact of school buildings in public education) and aim to (know the impact of the physical components of the school) Based on the criteria that must be available in the school buildings in light of the international standards of the organizations according to the overall quality standards and the researchers adopted the descriptive method of field research procedures. Schools of the holy districts and areas of Karbala represented the research community. Primary and secondary schools were a basic sample for their research. Information and data related to research, and the researchers reached a number of results, including the lack of conformity of many schools to the overall quality standards, including the presence of large numbers in the classroom.
