هدفت هذه الدراسة استقصاء أثر استخدام التعلم الخدمي في تنمية مفاهيم الموطنة لدى طلبة الصف العاشر الأساسي في الأردن. وتكوّن أفراد الدراسة من 121 طالباً وطالبة من طلبة الصف العاشر الأساسي من مدارس منطقة شمال عمان التابعة لوكالة الغوث الدولية في الأردن للعام الدراسي 2013/2014، وقد تكونت المجموعة التجريبية التي خضعت للتعلم الخدمي من 64 طالباً وطالبة، بينما تكونت المجموعة الضابطة التي خضعت للطريقة التقليدية من 57 طالباً وطالبة، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم إعداد الاختبار التحصيلي في وحدة المواطنة في مبحث التربية الوطنية والمدنية. وتم التحقق من صدق وثبات الاختبار، كما تم إعداد مشروع المواطنة وفق التعلم الخدمي، وتم تطبيق الاختبار التحصيلي تطبيقا قبلياً على المجوعتين التجريبية والضابطة. وبعد الانتهاء من تنفيذ المشروع، تم تطبيق الاختبار التحصيلي على مجموعتي الدراسة تطبيقاً بعدياً . وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود أثر ذي دلالة في تنمية مفاهيم المواطنة لدى طلبة الصف العاشر الأساسي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود أثر ذي دلالة في تنمية مفاهيم المواطنة في اختبار التحصيل ككل وفي مستويي التذكر والفهم والاستيعاب، لدى الطلبة يُعزى، إلى التفاعل بين التعلم الخدمي والجنس ولصالح الطالبات، وعدم وجود أثر ذي دلالة في تنمية مفاهيم المواطنة في اختبار التحصيل بمستوى التطبيق يُعزى إلى التفاعل بين طريقة التدريس والجنس. This study aims to investigate the impact of using service learning in developing the concepts of citizenship of the tenth grade students in Jordan. The study sample consists of 121 tenth grade - male and female students chosen from UNRWA schools, North Amman Area, Jordan during the scholastic year 2013/2014. The experimental group undergone the service learning consists of 64 male and female students; meanwhile the control group undergone the traditional method of learning and it consists of 57 male and female students. To achieve the objectives of the study, learning test has been prepared on the citizenship unit in the National and Civil Education subject. The reliability and credibility of the test has been verified accordingly. A citizenship project based on service learning has been prepared and the learning test has been first applied on the two groups of the study sample: the experimental and the controlling group. After the project has been implemented, the learning test has been later applied on the two groups. The results of the study have shown that there is a significant difference in developing the concepts of citizenship of the tenth grade students in favor of the experimental group. The results of the study have also indicated that there is a significant difference in developing the concepts of citizenship in the learning test as a whole in relation to the levels of remembering and understanding & comprehension of the students attributed to the interaction between the service learning and gender in favor of the female students and there is no significant difference in developing the concepts of citizenship in the learning test in relation to the application level attributed to the interaction between pedagogy and gender.
