هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على واقع ممارسة مشرفي مواد العلوم التربويين للإشراف الوقائي والإشراف الإبداعي من وجهة نظر معلميهم الأوائل في محافظتي الداخلية وشمال الباطنة بسلطنة عُمان. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (41) معلم أول و(31) معلمة أولى. ولجمع بيانات الدراسة صمم الباحثان استبيان خاص بمجال الإشراف الوقائي، ومجال الإشراف الإبداعي. وبعد أن تم التحقق من صدق وثبات الاستبيان بالطرق الإحصائية المناسبة، وبعد تطبيق الاستبيان على العينة، وتحليل البيانات، أسفرت النتائج عن الآتي: يمارس مشرفو مواد العلوم التربويون الإشراف الوقائي والإشراف الإبداعي بمستوى عال في المحافظتين. ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين ممارسة مشرفي مواد العلوم للإشراف الوقائي والإشراف الإبداعي تبعاً لمتغير النوع الاجتماعي والخبرة التدريسية. وفي ضوء ما أسفرت عنه الدراسة من نتائج، تمت التوصية بضرورة تكريم المشرفين التربويين وتشجيعهم وإشراكهم في ورش تدريبية تناقش أنماط الإشراف التربوي الحديثة. كما تم اقتراح مجموعة من المقترحات في الشأن ذاته. The present study aimed to identify the reality of educational science supervisors practicing preventive and creative supervision from the viewpoint of their senior teachers in the governorates of Al-Dakhlia and Northern Al Batinah in the Sultanate of Oman. The sample of the study consisted of (41) male and (31) female senior teachers. To collect the study data, the researchers developed a questionnaire for the field of preventive supervision and the field of creative supervision. After verifying the validity and reliability of the questionnaire by appropriate statistical methods, and after applying the questionnaire to the sample and analyzing the data, the results showed the following: Educational science supervisors practice preventive and creative supervision at a high level in the both governorates. There are no statistically significant differences between the practice of science supervisors for preventive supervision and creative supervision according to the gender variable and teaching experience. In the light of the results of the study, it was recommended that science supervisors should be honored, encouraged and involved in training workshops that discuss modern educational supervision patterns. A set of proposals has also been proposed in this regard. (Published abstract)
