هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى مدى قيام مديري مدارس محافظة "رام الله والبيرة" بدورهم في تعزيز القيم التربوية لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية من وجهة نظر الطلبة أنفسهم، تبعا لمتغيرات الدراسة (الجنس، ومكان السكن، والجهة المشرفة، والفرع الدراسي)، والتعرف على درجة استجابة أفراد العينة حول مدى قيام مديري مدارس محافظة "رام الله والبيرة" بدورهم في تعزيز القيم التربوية، لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية من وجهة نظر الطلبة أنفسهم. وقد تكوّن مجتمع الدراسة من طلبة المرحلة الثانوية جميعهم، بفرعيها (العلوم الإنسانية، والعلمي)، وعددهم (10941) طالبا وطالبة، وقد تم اختيار عينة الدراسة بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية، وتكونت من (551) طالبا وطالبة، بنسبة (5%) من مجتمع الدراسة. و تكوّنت أداة الدّراسة من استبانة أعدها الباحثون تألفت من (45) فقرة موزّعة على ثلاثة مجالات، وتمّ التأكّدُ من صدقِها وثباتِها. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن تقديرات أفراد العينة لمدى ممارسة مديري مدارس محافظة "رام الله والبيرة" لدورهم في تعزيز القيم التربوية لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية من وجهة نظر الطلبة أنفسهم جاءت بدرجة "متوسطة" حيث بلغ المتوسط الحسابي للأداة ككل (3.52)، وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤0.05) بين استجابات أفراد العينة، تُعزى لمتغير الجنس، في حين أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤0.05) بين تقديرات أفراد العينة، تُعزى لمتغير الفرع الدراسي لصالح فرع العلوم الإنسانية، والجهة المشرفة لصالح مدارس الحكومة، ومكان السكن لصالح القرى. كذلك كشفت النتائج عن مجموعة من التوصيات التي يمكن أن تحسن من دور المديرين في تعزيز القيم التربوية ومن أهمها : دعوة مديري المدارس الثانوية، والقائمين على إعداد المواد الدراسية، والمهتمين بالمناهج التعليمية إلى التركيز على القيم التربوية التي يتمثلها الطلبة في هذه الدراسة. This study aimed to identify the extent to which the headmasters of the schools in the "Ramallah and Al-Bireh" district play their role in promoting the educational values among the secondary level students from the viewpoint of the students themselves. It also aimed to study the effect of variables such as gender, place of residence, supervisory body, and study stream. The study community constituted of all secondary level students (10,941 student), in the human sciences and scientific stream, in all schools in "Ramallah and Al-Bireh" area, in the year 2011/2012. The sample of the study was randomly chosen by the stratified method; it consisted of (551) students with the percentage of (5%). To achieve the objectives of this study, the researchers prepared a questionnaire which consisted of (45) paragraphs in three main areas, namely: the social values, the scientific cognitive values, and the aesthetic values. The results of the study showed that the role of the headmasters of the schools in "Ramallah and Al-Bireh" area in promoting the educational values among the secondary level students from the viewpoint of the students themselves was “medium" on the total score, with arithmetic average of (3.52.) The results also showed there were no statistically significant differences at a significance level of (α ≤ 0.05) between the average degrees of response of the sample to the extent to which the headmasters of the schools in "Ramallah and Al-Bireh" area play their role in promoting the educational values due to the variable of gender. However, the results showed the presence of statistically significant differences at a significance level of (α ≤ 0.05) between the average degrees of response to the sample of the extent to which the headmasters of the schools in "Ramallah and Al-Bireh" area play their role in promoting the educational values due to. The variable of the school stream favor for the human sciences stream, the variable of the supervisory body showed a favor for the government schools, while the variable of place of residence showed a favor for the villages.
