هدفت الدراسة الكشف عن درجة ممارسة مديري مكاتب التعليم ومساعديهم للإدارة بالتجوال في مدارس منطقة حائل وسبل تطويرها. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (151) مديرا، ومديرة، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام منهج البحث الوصفي، وذلك من خلال تطوير استبانة لأغراض الدراسة، وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن درجة ممارسة مديري مكاتب التعليم ومساعديهم للإدارة بالتجوال في مدارس منطقة حائل التعليمية (شمال السعودية) من وجهة نظر مديري المدارس جاءت بدرجة تقدير (متوسطة). كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في درجة ممارسة مديري مكاتب التعليم ومساعديهم للإدارة بالتجوال من وجهة نظر مديري المدارس تعزى لأثر متغير الجنس، والمؤهل العلمي على الدرجة الكلية للإدارة بالتجوال، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في درجة ممارسة مديري مكاتب التعليم ومساعديهم للإدارة بالتجوال من وجهة نظر مديري المدارس على الدرجة الكلية تعزى لأثر متغير سنوات الخدمة وجاءت الفروق لصالح 10 سنوات فأكثر. وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في درجة ممارسة مديري مكاتب التعليم ومساعديهم للإدارة بالتجوال من وجهة نظر مديري المدارس على الدرجة الكلية تعزى لأثر متغير المنطقة التعليمية، وجاءت الفروق لصالح شمال حائل، وأن من أهم سبل تطوير الإدارة بالتجوال هو عقد دورات تدريبية وتأهيلية، وإعداد النشرات التثقيفية والندوات لمديري مكاتب التعليم ومساعديهم في مجال الإدارة بالتجوال، تشجيع مديري مكاتب التعليم ومساعديهم على استخدام الإدارة بالتجوال وإبراز محاسنها، وغرس القناعة لدى الجميع بأهميتها. The aim of the study was to examine the practice degree of management by wondering among educational districts directors and their assistants at Hail educational district schools and way to improve it. The sample of the study consisted of (151) male and female school principles. To achieve the objective of the study the descriptive design was adopted as a questionnaire was developed. The results of the study indicated that the practice degree of management by wondering among educational districts directors and their assistants at Hail education (northern Saudi Arabia) educational district schools was moderate from school principals' perceptions. The results of the study found no statistically significant differences in practice degree of management by wondering among educational districts directors and their assistants from schools principals' perceptions due to gender and educational degree on the total score of management by wondering instrument while statistically significant differences were found due years of experiences in favor of more than (10) years. The results of the study indicated statistically significant differences in practice degree of management by wondering among educational districts directors and their assistants from schools principals' perceptions due to educational district in favor of north Hail educational district. The most significant factor for improving the management by wondering is to organize training and qualification courses to pre-pare educational brochures and seminars for educational districts directors and their assistants concerning the use of management by wondering to show their benefits and to install its significance among them.
