هدفت الدراسة الحالية التعرف على مستوى الالتزام الديني وحيوية الضمير، والتحقق من العلاقة الارتباطية بين الالتزام الديني وحيوية الضمير، والمساهمة التنبؤية للالتزام الديني بحيوية الضمير، والكشف عن الفروق في الالتزام الديني، وحيوية الضمير وفقاً لمتغير النوع (ذكور، إناث). وطبقت أدوات الدراسة على عينة قوامها (185) طالبا من طلبة جامعة الأقصى، وتحقيقاً لأهداف الدراسة أعد الباحث مقياس الالتزام الديني، واستخدم مقياس حيوية الضمير من إعداد جودة (2012). وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود مستوى مرتفع في الالتزام الديني وحيوية الضمير، ووجدت علاقة ارتباطية طردية بين الالتزام الديني وحيوية الضمير، وبينت النتائج أن هناك إمكانية للتنبؤ بحيوية الضمير من خلال الالتزام الديني، ووجود فروق في الالتزام الديني وحيوية الضمير تبعا لمتغير الجنس لصالح الذكور. The current study aimed to identify the level of religious commitment and vitality of conscience, and verify the correlation between religious commitment and the vitality of conscience, and the predictive contribution of religious commitment to the vitality of conscience. Moreover, knowing the differences between Religious commitment and vitality of conscience according to variables gender (male- female), the scales are applied to a sample of 185 students from al-Aqsa University. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher prepared religious commitment scale and used vitality of conscience scale based on the study prepared by Judeh (2012). The results of the study reached a high level of religious commitment and vitality of conscience, and found a positive correlation between religious commitment and the vitality of conscience. The results showed that there is a possibility to predict the vitality of conscience through religious commitment, and differences in religious commitment and the vitality of conscience according to the gender variable in favor of males.
