هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على فاعلية إستراتيجية دورة التعلم الخماسية وأنموذج أبعاد التعلم في تنمية مهارات الاستقصاء العلمي لدى طالبات التعليم الثانوي. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف، استخدمت الباحثة المنهج التجريبي، وأحد التصميمات شبه التجريبية، والمتمثل في ثلاث مجموعات (مجموعتين تجريبيتين، وثالثة ضابطة). وتألفت عينتها من 67 طالبة في التعليم الثانوي في الفصل الأول للعام الدراسي 1436/ 1437ه، وقد اختيرت بطريقة قصدية. ولقياس الأداء القبلي والبعدي للعينة في مهارات الاستقصاء العلمي، أعدت الباحثة اختباراً لذلك. وقد أظهرت النتائج وجود فرق دال إحصائيا بين متوسطي درجات طالبات المجموعتين التجريبية الأولى والمجموعة الضابطة في التطبيق البعدي للاختبار. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فرق دال إحصائيا بين متوسطي درجات طالبات المجموعتين التجريبية الثانية والمجموعة الضابطة في التطبيق البعدي في مهارة ضبط المتغيرات، ومهارة التعريف، ومهارة التصنيف، وفي الدرجة الكلية للاختبار. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Learning Cycle 5E strategy and Dimensions of Learning Model in the development of scientific inquiry skills among Female students of the secondary education system courses in biology1. The experimental method was used. A quasi-experimental design involving three groups, two experimental and a control group with a pre/post- test was applied. Sixty- seven Junior female students participated in the study. Participants were enrolled in the credit hour secondary school system for the academic year 2015-2016. An investigator prepared test was used to measure students' scientific inquiry skills. Findings revealed significant statistical differences between the post test overall average scores of the first experimental group and the control group and in including differences in all scientific inquiry skills. Findings concerning the second experimental group revealed significant statistical differences between the post test overall average scores of the control group in scientific inquiry skills. Significant statistical differences were also found between the average scores of the control group and the second experimental group in the scientific inquiry skills (modifxing variables, giving definitions, Classifying items).
