The good citizenship is the highest aims of the human societies whatever their intellectual schools or their philosophical roots according to the impact of this citizenship of positive effects on all societies' aims. Many studies pointed out many problems that prevent Arab universities of performing their roles in citizenship education of their students. This study attempted to analyze the Educational literature and studies to identify the concept of citizenship, its features and components and the related concepts and analyze the concept of citizenship education and its reality in Arab universities. The study also showed and analyzed the world contemporary trends of citizenship in higher education to reach the identification of how to activate their roles in citizenship Education.
