The aim of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of employing the Posse strategy in teaching music education in developing the skills of reading and recording musical notes among the 4th grade girls of kindergarten dept., college of education, and to achieve this goal, the research group was selected and the semiexperimental approach with one group and pre and post measurement was used for the two research tools. Research results: 1) There is a statistically significant difference at (5.0) between the mean scores of the female students, the research group in the pre and post applications, to test the skills of reading musical notes in favor of the post application. 2) There is a statistically significant difference at (5.0) between the mean scores of the female students, the research group in the pre and post applications, to test the skills of recording musical notes in favor of the post application. 3) The effectiveness of using the posse strategy in musical education in Developing the skills of reading, writing down, the musical notes of the 4th grade girls of Kindergarten Dept.
