The aim of the research is to propose a teaching strategy that helps students to improve the playing of double notes on the mandolin. The experimental method “with one group” was used, and the research sample consisted of (24) male and female students from the third year, Department of Music Education, Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University, second semester, for the academic year 2020-2021. The researcher prepared and distributed a ladder and (4) pieces with double notes, and suggested a teaching strategy to improve playing double notes on the mandolin, and the research tools represented in a pre/ post note card were applied to measure students’ performance Playing double notes on the mandolin . The results resulted in the presence of a statistically significant difference at the level of confidence (0.01), and that there is a difference between the mean scores of students in playing double notes on the mandolin using the proposed teaching strategy in favor of the post application using the pre/ post observation card to measure students’ performance in playing double notes on the mandolin machine, which indicates the effectiveness of this proposed teaching strategy, and thus the hypothesis of the research was achieved.
