The current study sought to reveal the effect of flipped learning strategy on developing reading comprehension skills in the English language among seventh-grade students. Three sections of seventh-grade students in a private school in Zarqa Governorate were purposefully selected to participate in the study. These sections included 45 students, distributed equally among the three groups. The three sections were randomly distributed into three groups: the experimental group (1), which taught using flipped distance learning, and the experimental group (2), which taught using flipped learning in the school laboratory, while the control group (3) studied in the traditional way. The findings revealed a significant difference in achievement between the three groups, favoring the group that blended flipped. It was also found that there were no statistically significant differences between males and females in the reading achievement test. The study recommended that students and teachers should be trained on how to employ effective technologies and strategies in education to provide a creative learning environment capable of delivering educational content to students easily.
