This study aimed to investigate the effect of using the digital story in the English language subject on the learning motivation of sixth grade students in public schools in Giza District. Sample of the study consisted of sixth grade students who were divided into two groups, one of them is the experimental group that studied using the program based on digital stories, and their number is (25) students, and the other is the control group, which number is 31, in the second semester of the 2022 academic year. The study tool was the motivation scale. The researcher verified the validity and reliability of this tool, and used multiple statistical methods to analyze the results, and the results showed a statistically significant effect at the level of significance (α ≥ 0.05) on the learning motivation of sixth-grade students in teaching English in government schools in Giza District, attributable to the use of the digital story in favor of the experimental group, and the existence of a statistically significant effect at the level of significance (α ≥ 0.05) on the learning motivation of sixth-grade students in English language in government schools in Giza district when using digital stories due to the students’ previous achievement level (high, medium, low), and in light of the previous results, the researcher recommended the use of digital stories in teaching the English language course.
