The researcher in this study aimed at shedding light on the contributions of the faculties of humanities from 2001 to 2016, by identifying the characteristics of these numerical, qualitative, objective, and linguistic Theses, as well as to identify the extent to which society's issues and problems reflect on research. Scientific in those faculties, the researcher has relied on the methodology of historical research by looking at the intellectual production issued in this subject, as well as based on the bibliographic approach of the bibliographic, to prepare lists that restrict, record and describe intellectual production on the one hand, and study numerical trends The quality of this intellectual production on the other hand, and the researcher conducted the study on an intentional sample of the university Theses Approved in the faculties of humanities at the University of Assiut from 2001 to 2016, the number (2175) Theses, and the study consisted of a systematic introduction and three chapters: The researcher devoted the first chapter to the bibliographic control of university Theses in the faculties of humanities at the University of Assiut from 2001 to 2016, and the second chapter was devoted to the numerical and qualitative trends of the university's Approved Theses in the faculties of humanities at the University of Assiut from 2001 until 2016, The third chapter presents the objective and linguistic trends of the university's Approved Theses in the faculties of humanities at the University of Assiut from 2001 until 2016, followed by the conclusion, which included a set of the researcher's findings, then a set of recommendations, and the study was mentioned with a set of Supplements: A bibliographic list of university Theses Approved to the faculties of humanities from 2001 to 2016, including some referrals such as referrals (see) and referral (see also), followed by a group of Indexes including: an Index with the names of researchers, and an Index with the names of the supervisors of those Theses, A searcher with the Theses' titles, and finally a relative an Index with the Subject Headings used in the list, the most prominent results of this study was the following: 1) That there is a lack of bibliographic control of university-certified Theses at the Faculties of Humanities at The University of Assiut in the study period. 2) The Faculty of Arts had the lion's share of the number of university approved Theses in the time period under study. 3) In 2014, the highest rate of leave for university Theses was recorded in the period under study. 4) The number of male researchers generally exceeds that of females. 5) Joint supervision is predominantly in the leave of university Theses in the period under study. 6) The topics of university-sanctioned Theses are very much linked to the problems of society and contribute to solutions. 7) There is a direct correlation between the language of instruction and the language used to write Theses, which was the largest number of Theses written in Arabic.
