The current study aimed to learn about the degree of knowledge about the principles of verbal behavioral analysis among the speech therapists and the extent of practicing It in Mecca region. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive survey method, the study sample consisted of (90) male and female of speech therapists in Mecca region, the questionnaire was applied as a research tool. The results of the study indicated that the degree of knowledge of speech therapists came at a high rate with an average (2.37), also the study showed that the extent to which speech therapists practice verbal behavioral analysis was moderately achieved by an average (2.03). The study recommended to increase the opportunity of training for the speech therapists during the daily work and to be attentive to enhance their qualification to apply the principles of verbal behavioral analysis. The study also recommended to improve the decision makers about (VBA) in the field of special education in general, and particularly in the area of speech and language disorders. (Published abstract)
