The aim of the study was to identify the most common self-organized learning strategies, and the degree of creative thinking, among gifted female students in the secondary stage in Al-Baha. The study also aimed to know the relationship between the average of degrees on the scales of self-organized learning strategies and creative thinking, among gifted female students in the secondary stage in Al-Baha. It also detecting the differences in the average of degrees on the organized learning and the creative thinking skills due to the variable of the class. The study sample consisted of 150 gifted female students in the secondary stage in Al-Baha. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, a descriptive analytical method was applied. The Torrance Test of Creative Thinking: Figural Form (Translation by Fuad Abu Al-Hatab) and the Self-Organizing Strategies Scale prepared by the researcher were both applied. The results of the study reached the following: the most common of Self-organized learning strategies among gifted female students in the secondary stage in Al-Baha were observation critical thinking, and planning, while the least common strategies was organizing effort, and the degree of creative thinking was high, where the skill of originality was first and skill of fluent was the second and the third was detail skill while the skill of flexibility was the last. The results also revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between the Average degrees of the sample on the self- Organizing learning strategies scale and their degrees on the creative thinking scale. The results of the study did not reveal any statistically significant differences between the average degrees on the two scales due to the grade variable. (Published abstract)
