The aim of the this study was to identify the degree of application of basic schools principals in Mafraq Directorate who applied knowledge management processes in light of contemporary educational developments. In this study, the researcher used the descriptive surveying method. In order to achieve the objects of the study, the researcher inter views number of elementary principals. According to the answers of the principals, a questionnaire was finally developed that consisted of (56) paragraphs, destribuhng in for fields (generation, knowledge application, Knowledge, knowledge assessment and distributing). The group of the study consisted of (2594) male and female teachers. The studys sample consisted of (350) male and female teachers in the Directorate of Qasabat Al- Mafraq who were randomly chosen. The most important results of the study is that the degree of application of elementary schools principals in Mafraq Governarate to the processes of knowledge management in the light of contemporary educational developments to a high degree. All the fields are in a high degree and are as follows: (application of knowledge, knowledge generation, knowledge assessment knowledge distribution. According to these results, the researcher recommends the following : The need to form a specialised committee to develop knowledge management activities and to follow up the implementation of knowledge management processes in the directorates of education in the governorate of Mafraq.
