The use of knowledge means in a wise and correct manner and investing in all its scientific dimensions through intensive use of skills, tools of technical knowledge, innovation and advanced technology should constitute a real addition to the national economy and human development of various dimensions in order to optimize investment of available resources. Educational and productivity and combating the spread of the phenomenon of illiteracy, hence the purpose of this study to know the role of the economic dimension in human development and the fight against illiteracy, through reference to the literature of the previous references and scientific books and DER. A variety of studies were carried out in order to arrive at a statement of the complementary relationship between the economy, human development and the fight against illiteracy, based on the descriptive approach to achieve the objective of the study. The study concluded that once the following economic development objectives have been achieved: (increasing national vinegar, raising the standard of living, reducing income and wealth disparities, building the material foundation for progress), it will naturally lead to human development, the educational process and the eradication of illiteracy.
