This study aimed to recognize the degree of practicing knowledge management by middle schools principals in the State of Kuwait and its relation to the level of their achievement motivation. The researcher used the correlation descriptive method in this study. The study population consisted of (2508) teachers in the Mubarak Al Kabeer Educational Zone in the State of Kuwait, and the sample of the study consisted of (470) teachers. In order to achieve the aims of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire, consisting of (45) items, divided into two sections, the first measures the degree of practicing knowledge management by middle schools principals in the State of Kuwait, and the second measures the level of their achievement motivation. The study showed the following results: The practicing knowledge management by middle schools principals in the State of Kuwait showed a high degree. All of the subscales showed a high degree and were as follows: (Application of knowledge, Generating knowledge, Knowledge storage, Knowledge management requirements) respectively. The level of achievement motivation which middle schools principals in the State of Kuwait have showed a high degree. All of the subscales showed a high degree and were as follows: (Achieving excellence and discrimination, Persistence and ability to challenge, Need for achievement) respectively. A positive and statistically significant correlation was found between the degree of practicing knowledge management by middle schools principals in the State of Kuwait and the level of achievement motivation they have. Based to the results of this study, the researcher recommended to suggest to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education to provide all new knowledge management and motivation for achievement through training courses, workshops, seminars and conferences.
