Aims: The study aimed to identify the reality of student activities and ways of developing the use of means of educational mass communication, by reaching to the actual reality of student activities (classroom/ extra- curricular) in preparatory schools, and knowing the obstacles that prevent the establishment of such activities and the participation of students in them. And knowledge of the expected impact of the means of educational mass communication to exercise students’ school activities and that will make the school environment attractive to them. Methods: The study was descriptive method used, and consisted study tool in an open questionnaire a component party of the three axes, Namely The actual reality of student activities (Classroom/ Extra- curricular) at the preparatory School, Obstacles to the establishment of activities and student participation in school activities, and The expected impact of the educational mass communication on the practice of students for school activities and school environment that makes them attractive. Sample: The study sample consisted of 60 educational mass communication specialists and educational activity: directed the Directorate of Education in Damietta. Results: The study found a range of results the fact that the actual school activities in schools preparatory phase of Damietta: It came in the first grade that “activities contribute to the integrated personal preparation for the student”, and that by 96.7%, and the same proportion and arrangement all came from information activities are considered an integral part of the educational process part, develop participate in media: activities skills, social adjustment the art of dealing with other, came in second grade that The supervisor skills specialist and his enthusiasm is one of the student Attractions for exercise- induced factors and 96.11%. Came in third grade that Educational mass communication specialists that trains students on the press and speech and oratory arts school radio 95.5%, and It came in fourth arrangement that information activities Develop critical thinking and problem –solving skills in students 93.9%.
