The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of current events in the performance of social education teachers in Kuwait, and to achieve the objectives of the study a questionnaire were to build consisting of 30 paragraphs distributed among three dimensions: (social events field, political events field and economic events field). After confirming the veracity of the tool and its persistence it was distributed on a sample of the study consisting of 200 teachers at intermediate school in Farwaniya. The study results showed that the arithmetic averages for each of the social events field, political events field, economic events field were high, and the results showed no statistically significant differences due to the variables of the study (sex, qualification education, training and experience). In light of the outcome of the results of the study, the researcher recommended, including re-conduct the study on other stages of learning, and to the community of textbooks for Social materials at the middle school through content analysis to determine the extent to which current events are included.
