The study discussed the lack of the optimum use of internet in teaching process in the study Sudan University of science and technology. The problem of the study representatives in their lack of the optimum of interment in the teaching process. The study aimed at determining the extend of using the internet in the teaching process, and detecting the impediments of using the internet and identify the trends of the learners towards the internet and how to get the optimum use the available media. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach for concluding the findings and testing the hypotheses. So he used the questionnaire and observation as tools for collecting the data and SPSS commuters program for analysis the information. The study concluded the following importance findings: 1) the teaching staff members use the internet effectively. 2) The internet presents the information the in attractive way. 3) The internet contributes in developing the discussion skills between the students. Least of the training courses for teaching staffs in using the internet in teaching method. The impotence recommendations as following: 1) the need for establishing training courses for teaching staffs. 2) The needed for establishing concerned wed sites in Arabic languages. 3) To discuss the ideas and experiences with the concerned organizations and more developed countries in this field. To create appropriate environment for this types of education. (Published abstract)
