تحدّيات التعلّم من بعد مقاربة لاثني بحثا عربيّا في مخاطر الإدمان على الإنترنت : دراسة وصفيّة تحليليّة

The current study sought to examine the effect of virtual learning via internet medium, taken as a measure to prevent the infection from covid19, on internet addiction risks. This study employed meta-analysis approach, and twelve empirical studies about internet addiction, in some Arab World countries, met the objectives to join the study, in order to define the factors and circumstances that might lead to internet addiction. Results revealed no relation between the engagement of the students in studying via internet for long time every day via internet, with internet addiction, and so the time criterion for causing addiction is not considered. However, the preoccupation in the internet, as a criterion indicator for internet addiction, would contributes with the prevalence of other factors such as family relationship and emotional satisfaction seeking, in the absence of realistic opportunities, and the lack of skills such as effective communication skills. Some of the included studies indicated that internet addiction form a reciprocal causal and effect for negative psychological consequences. (Published abstract)
