This study aimed to identify some of the misconceptions of students and university students in Jordan. The researcher used the descriptive language and the study sample 113 people. Were selected in a deliberate and female student from Jordanian universities for the first semester of the 2009-2010 scientific 3 colleges and 3 colleges humanity, with the exclusion of the Faculty of Physical Education. And the researcher concluded that the highest areas of misconceptions in physical education for students in Jordanian universities were physical education and the social aspect and the least of which was physical education, and education. And the researcher to the existence of statistically significant differences to some perceptions, sports, according to the gender variable was these differences in favor of Alzcorvi all of these areas as a whole. There is also no statistically significant differences for the domain on physical education and the social side, according to the variable colleges scientific and literary faculties. While there were statistically significant differences for other areas, according to the variable colleges scientific, literary, and were all in favor of literary faculties. And had recommended the study to raise awareness and culture of sports through various media and holding seminars and lectures. And remove the ambiguity about everything related to concepts of sports and working in this area. To provide capabilities and equipment for the practice of sports activities in schools and universities, to increase the base practice sports among young people. (Published abstract)
