يسعى البحث الحالي  إلى الكشف عن مستوى ثقافة الأمن الفكري لدى طالبات السنة التحضيرية بجامعة الإمام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل، وما إذا هناك فروق إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات أفراد العينة حول درجة الوعي بمفهوم الأمن الفكري وثقافته تعود إلى متغير التخصص، و إبراز دور عضو هيئة التدريس في تعزيز ثقافة الأمن الفكري لدى طالبات السنة التحضيرية، واعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي، بجانب  الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات من أفراد العينة عن الأمن الفكري ومستوى ثقافته،  وتم تطبيق الاستبانة على عينة من طالبات المسار العلمي والإنساني بالسنة التحضيرية بلغت(670) طالبة، وتوصل البحث إلى العديد من النتائج أهمها وضوح مفهوم الامن الفكري لدى عينة البحث بدرجة كبيرة، وأن مستوى ثقافة الأمن الفكري لدى عينة البحث مرتفع،  ولا توجد فروق إحصائية بين أفراد العينة حول درجة الوعي بمفهوم الأمن الفكري وثقافته تعود إلى متغير التخصص،  ويتمثل دور عضو هيئة التدريس في تعزيز ثقافة الأمن الفكري في قيامه بالدور الأكاديمي من خلال تقديمه مقرر دراسي يتضمن محتوى علمي خالي من الأفكار والمعتقدات الخاطئة، ثم التركيز على دوره القيمي في غرس قيم المواطنة والانتماء والتسامح والتعايش والقدوة الحسنة، يلي ذلك دوره المهاري في التدريس، و أخيرا دوره المعرفي في تزويد وتوعية الطلاب بالأمن الفكري وتصحيح الأفكار المغلوطة المتعلقة بهذا الأمر، وهذا يعبر عن مستوى وعي عالي بالأمن الفكري وثقافته. The current research seeks to reveal the level of intellectual security culture among students of the preparatory year at Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University, and whether there are statistical differences between the average scores of the sample members about the degree of awareness of the concept of intellectual security and its culture due to the variable of specialization, and to highlight the role of the faculty member in Enhancing the culture of intellectual security among the students, and the research relied on the descriptive approach, in addition to the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data from the sample members about intellectual security and the level of its culture. Many results, the most important of which is the clarity of the concept of intellectual security among the research sample to a large extent, and that the level of culture of intellectual security among the research sample is high, and there are no statistical differences between the sample members about the degree of awareness of the concept of intellectual security and its culture due to the variable of specialization, and the role of the faculty member is to promote The culture of intellectual security in performing an academic role by presenting a course that includes scientific content free of false ideas and beliefs, then focusing on its value role in instilling the values of citizenship Belonging, tolerance, coexistence and a good example, followed by his skillful role in teaching, and finally his cognitive role in providing and educating students about intellectual security and correcting misconceptions related to this matter, and this reflects a high level of awareness of intellectual security and its culture.
