يعد منهج الجغرافيا من المناهج المدرسية المهمة في المرحلة الإعدادية؛ لما له من دور كبير في تنمية مهارات الطالب العقلية والحركية وتوجيهها نحو الاستثمار الإيجابي، وتعد مهارات الخرائط من الأهداف المهمة التي تسعى الجغرافيا إلى تحقيقها، فهي تؤكد على الخطوات العلمية التي تغير من تفكير الإنسان وتعتبر الكتب الإلكترونية من أحدث المستحدثات التكنولوجية المستخدمة في تدريس المواد المختلفة لما لها من إمكانيات متعددة، لذلك أجمع المربون على أهمية تنمية مهارات الخرائط لدى التلاميذ في مراحل التعليم العام المختلفة وحرصوا على جعلها هدفا أساسيا من أهداف تدريس الجغرافيا. وقد هدف هذا البحث إلى تنمية بعض مهارات استخدام الخرائط لدى تلاميذ الصف الأول الإعدادي من خلال وحدة مقترحة باستخدام الكتاب الإلكتروني التفاعلي، وقد تحددت مشكلة البحث في وجود قصور في بعض مهارات استخدام الخرائط لدى تلاميذ الصف الأول الإعدادي، وللتصدي لهذه المشكلة فقد تم تبني قائمة لمهارات استخدام الخرائط، وفي ضوئها تم بناء وحدة لتنمية مهارات استخدام الخرائط وتم تطبيقها باستخدام الكتاب الإلكتروني التفاعلي على تلاميذ مجموعة البحث من خلال التعلم الذاتي، وقد أسفرت النتائج عن وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين تلاميذ مجموعة البحث في الاختبار القبلي والبعدي لاختبار مهارات استخدام الخرائط لصالح التطبيق البعدي وكذلك لكل مهارة من مهارات استخدام الخرائط على حده، كما وجد فرق دال إحصائيا للمعالجة التجريبية لدى تلاميذ مجموعة البحث. The geography curriculum is one of the important school curricula in the preparatory stage. Geography has a great role in developing the student's mental and motor skills and directing them towards positive investment, and map skills are among the important goals that geography seeks to achieve, as it emphasizes the scientific steps that change human thinking, and electronic books are among the latest models used in teaching different subjects because of their multiple possibilities, so educators unanimously agreed on the importance of developing map skills among students in the different stages of general education and were keen to make it a primary goal of teaching geography. The first preparatory through a proposed unit using the interactive e-book, and the research problem was identified in the presence of a deficiency in some skills of using maps among first year middle school students. Then it was applied to the students of the research group through self-learning, and the results resulted in the presence of statistically significant differences between the students of the research group in the pre and posttest to test the skills of using maps in favor of the post application, as well as for each skill of using maps separately, a statistically significant difference was found for the experimental treatment among the students of the research group.
