هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة علاقة الكفاءة الاجتماعية بتنظيم الانفعال لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية ومعرفة مدى إمكانية التنبؤ الكفاءة الاجتماعية من تنظيم الانفعال لديهم، وشارك في هذه الدراسة (375) تلميذ تم اختيارهم من المجتمع الأصلي بمدارس مركز ومدينة شبين الكوم تراوحت أعمارهم بين (13.2) عام إلى (14.1) عام، بمتوسط عمري قدره (13.7) عام، وانحراف معياري قدره (6) أشهر. استخدمت الدراسة اختبار الكفاءة الاجتماعية (إعداد ساراسون، وساراسون، وهاكر، وباشم، 1985؛ ترجمة مجدي عبد الكريم، 2020)، ومقياس التنظيم الانفعالي (إعداد جروس Gross، 2003؛ ترجمة الباحثة). توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة داله إحصائيا بين الكفاءة الاجتماعية وتنظيم الانفعال، كما توصلت إلى إمكانية التنبؤ بالكفاءة الاجتماعية من تنظيم الانفعال لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية. The study aimed to identify the relationship of social competence to emotional regulation and predict by social competence through Emotion regulation of them, (375) pupils from shepin alkom schools shared in this study: their age is between (13.2-14.1) years with an average age of (13.7) years and a standard deviation of (6) months. The study used social competence Scale (prepared by sarson, sarson and Hakar, 1985; translated by Magdy Habib, 2020) and emotional regulation (prepared by Gross, 2003; translated by the author). The results indicated to: There are statistically negative significant relationship between Alexithymia and social competence, there are statistically positive significant relationship between social competence and emotional regulation at last emotional regulation can predict by social competence of prep schools.
