استهدف البحث تنمية مهارات الخيال العلمي والتحصيل لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية باستخدام نموذج مكارثي 4MAT. قامت الباحثة بإعداد قائمة بمهارات الخيال العلمي، واختبار مهارات الخيال العلمي، واختبار التحصيل الدراسي، وإعداد دليل المعلم وفق نموذج مكارثي 4MAT، وكراسة الأنشطة والتدريبات لتلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي، وتم استخدام المنهج شبه التجريبي ذو المجموعتين الضابطة والتجريبية، وتم تطبيق الأدوات على عينة البحث المتمثلة في (30) تلميذ وتلميذة كمجموعة تجريبية تدرس بنموذج مكارثي، و(30) تلميذ وتلميذة تدرس بالطريقة المعتادة، من تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي بمدرسة الشهيد عبد العليم راشد إدارة شبين الكوم التعليمية للعام الدراسي 2020-2021م. وأسفرت النتائج عن: 1) وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى (0,05) بين متوسطي درجات تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية وتلاميذ المجموعة الضابطة في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار الخيال العلمي لصالح تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية. 2) وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى (0,05) بين متوسطي درجات تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية وتلاميذ المجموعة الضابطة في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار التحصيل لصالح تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية. 3) وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائيا بين درجات المجموعة التجريبية في اختبار التحصيل الدراسي ودرجاتهم في اختبار الخيال العلمي في التطبيق البعدي. وفى ضوء النتائج تم تقديم بعض التوصيات والمقترحات التي تتعلق باستخدام نموذج مكارثي 4MAT في مراحل تعليمية مختلفة لتنمية مهارات الخيال العلمي ورفع مستوى التحصيل المعرفي لدى التلاميذ، وإجراء المزيد من الأبحاث التي تستخدم نموذج مكارثي 4MAT في تنمية متغيرات أخرى، وأبحاث تستخدم استراتيجيات تدريسية أخرى في تنمية مهارات الخيال العلمي. The study aimed at developing science fiction and achievement among primary school students through using the McCarthy 4MAT model. The researcher prepared a list of science fiction skills, science fiction skills test, academic achievement test, teacher's guide for using the McCarthy model in developing science fiction skills and an activity booklet for students to develop science fiction skills through the McCarthy model. The quasi-experimental approach with two groups, the control and the experimental, was used, and the tools were applied to the research sample of (30) male and female students as an experimental group taught by the McCarthy model, and (30) male and female students taught in the usual way, from the students of the sixth grade of primary school at the ""Martyr Abdel Alim Rashid"" school, Shebin El-Kom Educational Administration for the academic year 2020-2021 AD. The results resulted in: 1) There is a statistically significant difference at the level (05.0) between the mean scores of the experimental group students and the control group students in the posttest of the science fiction scale in favor of the experimental group students. 2) There is a statistically significant difference at the level (05.0) between the mean scores of the experimental group students and the control group students in the posttest of the achievement test in favor of the experimental group students. 3) There is a statistically significant correlation between the scores of the experimental group in the academic achievement test and their scores in the science fiction scale in the posttest. In light of the results, some recommendations and suggestions related to the use of the McCarthy 4MAT model in different educational stages were presented to develop science fiction skills and raise the level of cognitive achievement among students, and to conduct more research that uses the McCarthy 4MAT model to develop other variables, and research that uses other teaching strategies in developing other variables to develop science fiction skills.
