هدفت الدراسة التعرف على اتجاهات أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية نحو برامج التلمذة للطلبة الموهوبين. اعتمد الباحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (286) من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكلية التربية بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية، وذلك في الفصل الدراسي الثاني لعام (1442). أعد الباحث استبانة مكونة من (48) فقرة، وتحقق من صدقها وثباتها. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن اتجاهات أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية نحو برامج التلمذة للطلبة الموهوبين، كانت إيجابية. وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين أفراد عينة الدراسة بناء على متغير الرتب العلمية، كما أشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فرق دال إحصائيا بين أفراد عينة الدراسة بناء على متغير التخصص التربوي. وفي ضوء النتائج أوصت الدراسة بضرورة توفير الحوافز والاقتراحات والإجراءات التي يمكن أن تدعم استمرارية مشاركة أعضاء هيئة التدريس بشكل ممتاز ببرامج التلمذة للطلبة الموهوبين بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية. The study aimed to investigate instructor’s attitudes towards mentoring programs for the gifted at Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, college of education. The study was conducted on (n 286) during the second semester in the academic year 1442 H. The participants’ responses for 48 items, included most of the factors that have impact on instructor’s attitudes towards participation in mentoring programs, were analysed. The results showed that the instructor’ attitudes towards participation in mentoring programs for the gifted were positive. In a similar vein, the results highlighted factors impacting on participation decision in mentoring programs effectively. Considering influenced factor in mentoring programs: (i. e., financial reward, minimizing teaching hours load, realizing mentor role in the program and volunteering appreciation), The study results revealed the importance of mentoring programs for the gifted from their perspectives, the need for providing motives, suggestions and procedures which support Al-Imam University instructor’ participation in mentoring programs for the gifted in an efficient manner and in a permanent way, as well. the results revealed that there are statistically significant differences attributed to academic ranks, whereas, there are no statistically significant differences in favour of any departments among four participating academic departments.
