هدفت الدراسة إلى تقديم رؤية مقترحة لتحقيق الميزة التنافسية لجامعة القاهرة في ضوء التصنيفات العالمية للجامعات، وذلك من خلال تحليل الإطار المفاهيمي للميزة التنافسية، وتعرف مفهوم التصنيفات العالمية للجامعات وأهميتها وأنوعها، واستعراض واقع ترتيب جامعة القاهرة وفق بعض التصنيفات العالمية. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي بالإضافة إلى استخدامها أسلوب التحليل البيئي الرباعي (سوات). وتوصلت إلى وضع رؤية مقترحة لتحقيق الميزة التنافسية لجامعة القاهرة في ضوء التصنيفات العالمية للجامعات من خلال تطوير وظائف الجامعة (التدريس - البحث العلمي - خدمة المجتمع). انطلقت هذه الرؤية من خلال استراتيجية التنمية المستدامة: رؤية مصر 2030 التي أكدت على ضرورة توفير تعليم يتصف بالجودة العالية على مستوى أعضاء هيئة التدريس والمناهج، ومسايرة نظم التعليم والتعلم للمعايير العالمية مما يزيد من تنافسية التعليم، والخطة الاستراتيجية لجامعة القاهرة وركز محتوى الرؤية على الاهتمام بإعداد خريجين قادرين على تحقيق التميز والنجاح من خلال إعدادهم التربوي والبحثي، وتنمية مهارات طلاب الدراسات العليا لإعداد أبحاثهم العلمية، والإعداد الأكاديمي والبحثي لأعضاء هيئة التدريس، بالإضافة إلى تنمية مهاراتهم الأكاديمية والإدارية، واستخدام استراتيجيات تدريس جديدة تواكب التحول الرقمي، ودعم حرية البحث العلمي لأعضاء هيئة التدريس، مع تحديد متطلبات سوق العمل واحتياجاته لتحسين مخرجات الجامعة. The study aimed to present a suggested vision to achieve the competitive advantage of Cairo university in the tight of the global classification of universities, by analyzing the conceptual framework of competitive advantage, identifying the concept of global classification of universities, the importance and types, and surveying the position of Cairo university according to some global classification, the study used the descriptive approach, In addition to using the Quadruple Environmental Analysis (SWOT) method and reached a proposed vision, to achieve the competitive advantage of Cairo university in tight of the global classification of universities, through developing university functions or jobs (teaching, scientific research, community service). The vision was launched through the sustainable development strategy: Egypt Vision 2030, which emphasized the need to provide high quality education at the level of faculty members and curricula, and to keep education and learning systems in line with international standards, which increases the competitiveness of education and the strategic plan of Cairo University. The vision of this study focused on preparing graduates have ability to achieve success and excellence through their educational and research preparation, developing their skills to prepare their scientific research, besides preparing and developing the academic and administrative skills of university members to use knew strategies that keep pace with the digital transformation, and supporting the scientific research independence for them, while defending the requirements and needs of the labor market to improve the university's output.
