يهدف البحث التعرف على العلاقة بين مستوى الأساليب التدريسية لمدرسي ومدرسات الفيزياء وبين دافعية طلبتهم لتعلم المادة. تحدد مجتمع البحث بمدرسي ومدرسات الفيزياء للصف الخامس العلمي وطلبتهم في المدارس الإعدادية والثانوية النهارية في مدينة الموصل للعام الدراسي (2010-2011). تكونت عينة البحث من (20) مدرساً ومدرسة لمادة الفيزياء للصف الخامس العلمي بواقع (10) مدرسين و(10) مدرسات، وتكونت أيضاً من (400) طالب وطالبة بواقع (200) طالب و(200) طالبة من الذين يدرسهم مدرسوا عينة البحث. ولتحقيق هدف البحث تطلب أداتين الأولى: أداة تكمان المتكونة من (28) فقرة لبيان مستوى الأساليب التدريسية، والثانية: مقياس الدافعية نحو تعلم الفيزياء والذي أعده ألحسناوي (2005) وكيفه السويدي (2010) للمرحلة الإعدادية. وبعد تطبيق الأداتين وجمع البيانات ومعالجتها إحصائيا باستخدام الوسائل الإحصائية المناسبة، دلت النتائج إلى: 1) لا توجد علاقة ارتباطيه دالة إحصائيا بين الأساليب التدريسية لمدرسي الفيزياء ودافعية طلبتهم نحو تعلم الفيزياء. 2) لا توجد علاقة ارتباطيه دالة إحصائياً بين الأساليب التدريسية لمدرسات الفيزياء ودافعية طلبتهن نحو تعلم الفيزياء. This present study aims at identifying the relationship between the teaching styles used by male and female physics teachers and the pupil's motivation towards physics. The research sample focuses on the teachers and the pupil's of the scientific 5th year in the secondary and preparatory school in Mosul (2010-2011). The research sample consists of (20) physics teachers: (10) males and (10) females. Furthermore, it consists of (400) taught by the teacher sample: (200) males (200) females. To achieve the goals of the study, two tools are constructed: The first tool is "Tuck man's Tool". It consists of (28) items. The second one is a motivation scale towards physics constructed by Al-Hasnawi (2005) and adapted by Al-Suwaidi (2010) for the secondary stage. After applying the two tools collecting the data, and analyzing them statistically the study shows the following results: 1) There is no statistical relationship between styles by male physics teachers and their male pupils motivation. 2) There is no statistical relationship between the teaching styles by female physics teachers and their female pupil's motivation towards physics.
