استهدف البحث التعرف على أهمية تطوير دور إدارة جامعة السويس من أجل تحقيق قدرتها التنافسية، وذلك من خلال الوقوف على ملامح إدارة جامعة السويس في الوقت الحاضر، والتعرف على الأسس النظرية للقدرة التنافسية، وتحديد أهم الإجراءات المقترحة لتطوير دور إدارة جامعة السويس لتحقيق قدرتها التنافسية. وظّف البحث المنهج الوصفي حتى يحقق أهدافه ويجيب عن تساؤلاته. وكان من أبرز نتائجه: 1) تجاهل بعض قيادات العمل الإداري بالجامعة للمضامين العلمية للقدرة التنافسية للعمل الجامعي، 2) وفقدان الثقة بين إدارة الجامعة وبعض أعضاء هيئة التدريس بمختلف كلياتها، 3) والاعتماد على بعض العاملين في إدارة أعمال القسم أو الوحدة دون الآخرين، 4) وكذلك إقصاء بعض الكفاءات عن المشاركة في إدارة مجالات العمل الجامعي، بالإضافة إلى إهمال مشاركة الصف الثاني عند المشاركة في صنع القرار الجامعي، وإهمال آراء ومقترحات الطلاب تجاه المشاكل التي تعترضهم في حياتهم الجامعية أو العملية. The current research aimed to identify the most important development of the management role of Suez University in order to achieve its competitiveness, through: standing on the features of Suez University management at the present time, and identifying the theoretical foundations of competitiveness, and identifying the most important proposed measures to develop the role of Suez University administration to achieve its competitiveness. The research employed the descriptive approach in order to achieve its goals and answer its questions. And among its most prominent results was: 1) the neglect of some leaders of the university's administrative work for the scientific implications of the competitiveness of university work; 2) the loss of confidence between the university administration and some members of the teaching staff in its various faculties, 3) and reliance on some workers in the department's business administration or loneliness without others, as well as the exclusion of some competencies from participating in the management of university work fields, 4) in addition to neglecting the participation of the second grade when participating in university decision-making, and neglecting students' opinions and suggestions regarding the problems that they encounter in their university or practical life.
