هدف البحث إلى مراجعة الدراسات السابقة لتعرف أوجه التطوير المهني لمعلم العلوم القائم على معايير العلوم للجيل القادم (NGSS)، واستخدم منهج البحث النوعي بأسلوب دراسة الحالة، وقد كان مجتمع البحث الأوراق البحثية والمقالات المنشورة في كل من: قاعدة البيانات العالمية المفتوحة المصدر (Web of science)، ودار المنظومة، وذلك خلال الفترة 2013-2021، وتلخصت نتائج البحث في أن البحوث التربوية التي تناولت التطوير المهني لمعلم العلوم في ضوء معايير العلوم للجيل القادم جاءت متنوعة والذي قد يعزى لتنوع وتعدد أهدافها البحثية، وطبيعة المجتمعات التي أجريت ضمنها، وتعدد أساليب التطوير المهني المستخدمة فيها، إلا أنه يلاحظ عدم تناول أي دراسة منها: وعي معلم العلوم أو تمكنه أو تطوير المهني في مجال إيجاد الربط بين أبعاد معايير العلوم للجيل القادم الذي أكدته وثيقة المعايير، كما أن الدراسات لم تتناول التطوير المهني في ضوء المفاهيم الشاملة التي حددتها وثيقة المعايير بالرغم من أنها تمثل طريقة واحدة لربط الأفكار الأساسية بالممارسات العلمية والهندسية، فهي تفسر الموضوعات العلمية التي تظهر في جميع التخصصات العلمية، وفي ضوء هذه النتائج وضع الباحثان بعض التوصيات من أبرزها: تكثيف برمج التطوير المهني المستندة إلى الجيل القادم لمعايير العلوم المستندة إلى أساليب حديثة للتطوير المهني. The aim of the research is to review of previous studies to know the aspects of professional development for science teacher based on science standards for the next generation NGSS, and use the qualitative research method in a case study style. House of the system, in the period (2013-2021). The results of the research were summarized in that the research that dealt with the professional development of science teachers in the light of NGSS was diverse, which may be attributed to the diversity of its research objectives, the nature of the societies within which it was conducted, and the multiplicity of professional development methods used in them.
