هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف دور معلمي التربية الإسلامية في تحصين طلاب المرحلة الثانوية بمدينة مكة المكرمة من الإلحاد من وجهة نظر المشرفيين التربويين، ومدراء المدارس، والطلاب، والكشف عما إذا كانت هناك فروق بين متوسطات استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة حول دور معلمي التربية الإسلامية في تحصين طلاب المرحلة الثانوية من الإلحاد تعزى لاختلاف فئات عينة الدراسة. لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي، وتمثلت الأداة في استبانة تضمنت (34) دورا لتحصين الطلاب من الإلحاد، عممت على كامل مجتمع الدراسة من المشرفين التربويين، مدراء المداس، وطلاب المرحلة الثانوية. ولتحليل بيانات الدراسة تم استخدام التكرارات، والنسب المئوية، والمتوسطات النسبية لتحديد دور معلم التربية الإسلامية في تحصين الطلاب من الإلحاد، واختبار تحليل التباين الأحادي للتعرف على مدى وجود فروق في الاستجابات تعزي لمتغير فئات العينة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن دور معلمي التربية الإسلامية للمرحلة الثانوية في تحصين الطلاب من الإلحاد من وجهة نظر المشرفين التربويين كان متوسطا، ومن وجهة نظر مدراء المدارس كان متوسطا، بينما كان من وجهة نظر الطلاب كبيرا، ولم تظهر فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة تعزى لمتغير الفئة. وبناء على نتائج الدراسة كان من أبرز توصيات الدراسة تفعيل أدوار معلمي التربية الإسلامية في تحصين الطلاب من الإلحاد التي ظهرت بدرجة متوسطة من خلال مناشط مختلفة كالندوات، والقراءات التوعوية، والدورات التدريبية. ومن مقترحات الدراسة إجراء دراسة عن الاحتياجات التدريبية لمعلمي التربية الإسلامية في مجال تحصين الطلاب من الأفكار والشبهات الإلحادية. The study aimed at investigating the role of Islamic education teachers in protecting the secondary stage students in Makkah city from atheism through points of view of students, educational supervisors, and school principals. It also aimed at exploring if there were differences among averages of responses in the study sample related to Islamic education teacher’s role in protecting secondary stage students from atheism due to different categories of the study sample. The study followed the descriptive approach, and the study tool a questionnaire consisted of (34) roles of protecting students from atheism. The tool was applied electronically on the whole study population of the educational supervisors, secondary school principals, and secondary school students. The study used Percentages, repetitions, and averages to determine the teacher’s role in protecting students from Atheism. It also used one way analysis of variance between three or more independent samples to examine if there were differences in the responses due to category. The results of the study show that Islamic education teacher’s role in protecting secondary stage students from atheism through points of view of educational supervisors was average, through points of view of school principals was average, and through points of view of secondary stage students was high. There were no statistical significances among responses averages of study sample related to the Islamic education teacher’s role in protecting the secondary school pupils from atheism due to the category (educational supervisor, school principals, and secondary school student). in the light of the results of the study, it recommended that the Islamic education teacher's roles in protecting students form atheism which have emerged with intermediate degree should be activated through various activities such as seminars, awareness readings, and training courses.
