تهتم الدراسة بأحد فئات المجتمع غير السوية، وهم الأحداث الجانحين، وهم من فاقدي القوة البشرية، حيث وجود تباين في معاملة هذه الفئة عن فئة الأسوياء؛ لما تتسم به من أفكار ومعتقدات وقيم سلبية. والدراسة توضح طبيعة العلاقة بين ممارسة العلاج المعرفي السلوكي والتخفيف من حدة الشعور بالاعتمادية. والتخفيف من حدة الشعور بالتهور الإنفعالي. وكذا من حدة الشعور بالعجز. وانتهت الدراسة إلى فعالية العلاج المعرفي السلوكي في تعديل أفكار الحدث حول العجز وعدم الاعتماد على النفس. The study is concerned with challenging the unwholesome segments of society who are juvenile delinquents and who lack manpower, as there is a difference in the treatment of this segment than others because of the quality of their beliefs and negative values. The study shows the nature of the relationship between the practice of behavioral cognitive therapy and the reduction of the severity of the feeling of dependence and alleviate the feeling of emotional agitation and the severity of the sense of helplessness. The study concluded with the effectiveness of the behavioral cognitive therapy (CBT) in modifying the juvenile's ideas about disability and self-reliance. (Published abstract)
