هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على توافر ثقافة العمل التطوعي (المجالات الثقافية، المجالات الإدارية، المجالات الشرعية، المجالات الاجتماعية) لدى طلبة جامعة أم القرى، والكشف عن إسهام العمل التطوعي بتنمية المهارات القيادية (المهارات الفنية، المهارات التنظيمية، المهارات الفكرية، المهارات الإنسانية) لدى طلبة جامعة أم القرى، والكشف عن أبرز المعوقات التي تحول دون توافر ثقافة العمل التطوعي لدى طلبة جامعة أم القرى. استخدم المنهج الوصفي للإجابة على أسئلة الدراسة، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من طلبة جامعة أم القرى بمكة المكرمة مقر العابدية ومقر الزاهر لجميع المراحل الدراسية، حيث تم توزيع الاستبانة على عينة عشوائية بسيطة بلغت (600) طالب وطالبة، وعاد منها (381) استبانة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أهم النتائج التالية: أولا:جاءت درجة توافر ثقافة العمل التطوعي (المجالات الثقافية، المجالات الإدارية، المجالات الشرعية، المجالات الاجتماعية) لدى طلبة جامعة أم القرى بدرجة متوسطة بنسبة بلغت 73%. ثانيا:جاءت درجة إسهام العمل التطوعي بتنمية المهارات القيادية (المهارات الفنية، المهارات التنظيمية، المهارات الفكرية، المهارات الإنسانية) لدى طلبة جامعة أم القرى بدرجة كبيرة بلغت نسبتها 85%. ثالثا:جاءت درجة أبرز المعوقات التي تحول دون توافر ثقافة العمل التطوعي لدى طلبة جامعة أم القرى بدرجة متوسطة بلغت نسبتها 58%. The study aimed to identify the availability of a culture of volunteer work (cultural fields, administrative fields, legal fields, social fields) among students of Umm Al-Qura University, and to reveal the contribution of volunteer work to the development of leadership skills (technical skills, organizational skills, intellectual skills, human skills) among the students of Umm Al-Qura University, and revealing the most important obstacles to the availability of a culture of volunteer work among the students of Umm Al-Qura University. The descriptive approach was used to answer the questions of the study, and the study population consisted of the students of Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah Al-Abidiya headquarters and Al-Zahir headquarters in all academic levels, where the questionnaire was distributed to a simple random sample of (600) male and female students, of which (381) were returned. The study reached the following most important results: First: The degree of availability of a culture of volunteer work (cultural fields, administrative fields, legal fields, social fields) among students of Umm Al-Qura University was medium at a rate of 73%. Second: The degree of contribution of voluntary work to the development of leadership skills (technical skills, organizational skills, intellectual skills, human skills) among students of Umm Al-Qura University was significantly higher, at 85%. Third: The degree of the most prominent obstacles to the availability of a culture of volunteer work among students of Umm Al-Qura University was an average degree of 58%. (Published abstract)
