هدف البحث إلى تعرف درجة تطبيق مبادئ الحوكمة في كليات التربية بالجامعات السودانية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي. تكون مجتمع البحث من جميع أعضاء هيئة التدريس العاملين في أربع من كليات التربية بالجامعات السودانية؛ وهي (الخرطوم، السودان للعلوم والتكنولوجيا، القرآن الكريم، نيالا). اختار الباحث عينة عشوائية بسيطة بلغت 60 عضوا. استخدم الباحث الاستبانة أداة رئيسة لجمع البيانات المطلوبة. ولتحليل البيانات إحصائياً استخدم الباحث برنامج الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية SPSS. توصل البحث إلى أن تطبيق مبادئ الحوكمة في كليات التربية السودانية جاء بدرجة متوسطة، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية نحو درجة ممارسة مبادئ الحوكمة في كليات التربية السودانية تعزى لمتغيرات (الجنس والدرجة العلمية وسنوات الخدمة). وفي ضوء النتائج، أوصى البحث بضرورة إعطاء إدارات كليات التربية بالجامعات السودانية اهتماماً أكبر بتطبيق مبادئ الحوكمة؛ خاصة مبدأ المساءلة، وجعلها ثقافة شائعة بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس. The research aims at identifying the level of applying Governance Principles in Colleges of Education in Sudanese universities as perceived by the faculty members. The researcher used the descriptive approach, and the research community was composed of all faculty members working in four colleges of education in Sudanese universities; namely (Khartoum, Sudan for Science and Technology, Holy Quran, Nyala). A simple random sample (n=60) was chosen. The researcher used the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. As for statistical analysis, the researcher used SPSS program. Research results indicated that: The application of the principles of governance in the Sudanese colleges of education is at a moderate degree, and no statistically significant differences exist as of the degree of practicing the principles of governance in the Sudanese colleges of education that can be attributed to variables (gender, academic degree and years of service).The research concluded with several recommendations, including: The need to enhance faculty members’ zest to apply the principles of governance.
