يهدف البحث الحالي إلى التعرف على واقع حجم الإنتاجية العلمية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس ومعاونيهم بعمادة السنة التحضيرية بجامعة الإمام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل، وإبراز العوامل المؤثرة فيها، والكشف عما إذا كان هناك فروق دالة إحصائيا في الإنتاجية العلمية للأعضاء ترجع الى متغيرات الجنس، العمر، التخصص، الأعباء الإدارية، واعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي والمسح الببليومتري واستبانة لحصر حجم الانتاج من الناحية الكمية وجمع المعلومات المطلوبة للبحث، وطبق البحث على عينة عشوائية من أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومعاونيهم بالعمادة بلغت (160) عضو، وتوصل البحث إلى نتائج عدة أهمها: أن حجم الإنتاجية المتعلقة بالبحث العلمي خلال عام 2011 :2020 قليل جدا حيث إن النسبة الأكبر من العينة 61.11% نشرت ما بين (1-2) بحثا، ونسبة 19.38% لديهم إنتاجية علمية من الكتب المؤلفة فردي أو مشترك وهي قليلة جدا، أما أبرز العوامل الاقتصادية المؤثرة على الإنتاجية العلمية تتمثل في ارتفاع تكاليف متطلبات الإنتاج العلمي، يليها ارتفاع تكلفة النشر في المجلات العلمية العالمية المتخصصة، وتبين وجود أثر لمتغير المناصب الإدارية على حجم الإنتاجية العلمية، وأثر لمتغير الجنس لصالح الإناث، ولا يوجد أثر لمتغير العمر، والتخصص على الإنتاجية العلمية. The current research aims to identify the reality of the size of the scientific productivity of the faculty members and their assistants at the Deanship of the Preparatory Year at Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University, highlight the factors affecting them, and reveal whether there are statistically significant differences in the scientific productivity of the members due to the variables of sex, age, specialization, Administrative burdens, and the research was based on the descriptive approach, the bibliometric survey and a questionnaire to quantify the volume of production in terms of quantity and to collect the information required for research. The research was applied to a random sample of faculty members and their assistants in the Deanship of (160) members. The research reached several results, the most important of which are: the volume of productivity related to scientific research during the year 2011: 2020 is very small, as the largest percentage of the sample 61.11% published between (1-2) research, and 19.38% have scientific productivity from books written individually or jointly, which is very few. The economic impact on scientific productivity is represented in the high costs of scientific production requirements, followed by the high cost of publishing in specialized international scientific journals, and the existence of an impact of the variable of administrative positions on the size of scientific productivity, and the effect of the gender variable in favor of females, and there is no effect of the variable of age and specialization on scientific productivity.
